Wow, $28,000 isn't what they were going for here in Dallas in 2004. They were selling right at and above MSRP at $30.6 something. I think the 07 R32 sold as an 08 model I think will be about the same price, I just hope it has more power this time around. What ever happened to the VW RSI Bug and RSI Golf that we were slated to get a few years ago? Those things were suppose to be twin turbo all wheel drive 300hp machines. I remember reading about them in a European car mag when I had my 2000 Golf TDI. Those would have been bad a@% had they come out a few years ago before the Evo and Sti.

Yep. They were selling for just as much (or more) used than when new....go figure.

I think the guy was talking about the new Mk5 R32 which is available in the uk already. I love the mk4 r32 being a former vdub owner but i am looking forward to the new scirocco to arrive, if ever.

actually i was reading a magazine, don't remember which one but in 2009 or 10they are planning to come out w/ the new style R32, they are going to have 4 different models of it. the base R32 with 2.3L engine then the next level with just better suspension, seats, accessories, 3rd level w/ single turbo, and then the 4th model a twin turbo with intercooler. they stated that it's gonna push 505hp, costing around 38k. they had a pic of it, it just looked like the new body modified golf
