Or were you just making stuff up?

It happens here, as well as on any F-body, GTO, Corvette, Viper, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bugatti, Porsche, Subaru, Nissan, etc. site.
Visit a Lamborghini or Ferrari forum and you'd probably find the same kind of crap. The only difference is that their cars are 10x's as expensive as ours.

I can totally understand if they're bought for a reason (track wheels, winter wheels) but damn, its fugly. I need to stay off Nasioc for a while... too many punk *** WRX owners..lol

On a better note, my IX is faster and quicker stock for stock then my 05 Sti, and the previously posted area under the curve says it all...

I've found that www.subytech.com, www.wrxtuners.com, or www.clubwrx.net seem to be the best ones.

Yep, that's right. The plethora of the "The WRX is a better value for the money than an STi/STI is!" is running wild. I guess it doesn't cost much to upgrade a chassis, brakes, suspension, motor, transmission, turbo, AWD setup, forged wheels, performance tires, etc.
If one were to purchase a WRX, which I seriously considered doing, and then upgrading most of the parts, I would have surpassed the cost of what an STi/STI would've cost to begin with. Not to mention, once I reached performance levels of a STOCK STi/STI, that WRX would've become quite expensive to modify beyond that.
NUTSAC is home to a bunch of ex-Honda drivers. Nearly the entire population of members on that site are ricers. I went to a NUTSAC meet last October and it was nothing more than a bunch of teenie-boppers with their underage girlfriends sitting in the parking lot of a pizza place revving their motors at eachother to see whose car could shoot the biggest flame out of the exhaust.
I really want the 40 miles and gas back that I wasted driving to and from that ridiculous little uh......whatever it was.

The STi/Evos are really a huge bang for the buck in my opinion. There are a bunch of people always bringing up the price of each vehicle as a means of bashing. "Well my _____ was 10K less than your car and with that money, I could buy a turbo kit and kick your car's a$$." That's super. Now go get some Brembos, Recaros, an AWD system, BBS/Enkei wheels, max performance tires, and better cooling for your engine and tell me how much it cost. Impossible to pull it off with 10K.
I've heard that they addressed what (IMO) is the biggest problem with the STi for 2007. They adjusted the gearing. The fact that the 04-06 cars had to go to fifth gear in the quarter mile was a bad thing. I think they'll be a lot nicer with the revised ratios! I can't wait to drive one.

The STi Imprezas are badass. If I could afford both I'd probably own a STi too. Not a lot of us are ballers out there and making change like that so we have to choose from two great cars. If the MR was out (damn Mitsubishi) in May 2003 I would have had one of those instead of my "GSR" 8.

I have a 572whp STI and a 320whp Evo and I still like my Evo better. The STI will stomp just about anything on the road, but my Evo talks to me and I feel like I am part of it. The STI was not ment for me... which is why I am probebly gonna sell it.

Anyway, the HP revision doesn't mean much for me. I am much more into WHP.
