I'm jealous. I wanted to buy a TSI or GSX for a winter car last winter but couldnt find one at a reasonable price. I almost had a silver one for the Edmunds TMV of around 3 grand then the kid at the last minute said he wanted the original price of $5,500! Rediculous. So I bought a beater Pathfinder instead. That thing should be a lot of fun in the CT snow!

That's what I've been looking for, 1st gen AWD. All of the ones around my area for sale are hacked though, wings, body kits, crazy paint, etc. I love the way they look stock...........with a nice big fmic of course

got it for cheap needed a few things i had laying around from my old dsm days
has a spark issue right now im trying to sort out but i have paper work for the new engine etc i guess the ecus are problematic so im going right to that first

 

DSM rules

 

Yup, yup. Pull the ECU out, remove the cover and see how it smells. If it smells like fish, the caps are leaking. Look for leaking or ballooning ones anyway even if it doesn't smell yet.
Easy fix. I bought the new caps for $11 and replaced them myself when I had a 92 TSi AWD as my beater a few years ago.
