Gotta love the fire from rotary engines... it just randomly spits fire... that's FRIGIN SICK! lol

the reason alot of guys are doing this swap is because the 13b also randomly blows up. take it from one who's been through 4 motors in my previous 7. sure there are reliability mods and proper tuning, but they still fail randomly even with all the precautions. i had a properly tuned, well built 13b with upgraded apex seals running no more than 15 psi and it blew up at cruise on the highway. those apex seals can be a p.i.t.a.

We live in Warren so we are 15 min apart max, def want to come see it.
I would sell it for $30k. but i'd also include a sparco roadster seat and bracket, the parts needed to install power steering, and a bunch of firebird AC parts in case you wanted to have AC installed (not all the parts but most of them).
i'll PM you my number. not sure about trades but possibly.

Hinson verted FD's are the shiz right now. Im liking the idea of his 240SX swaps also....so many nice 4 banger 240's in Socal already drifted out ready for all aluminum 8 hole GM bullets. Your car is 2700 LB's w/400 ft lbs of torque...nice 128mph traps for such a tame, hassle free N/A combo.

My favorite vid from them....

all my FD friends out here haven't blown their motor yet. Running original motor, one of my buddy's sports a GT35r (aspec kit) with a Steve Kan Tune, and it's pushing around ~410 rwhp @ 15psi. he has about 150k on his engine, max boost @ around 3200rpm all the way up to 8500. regardless, it's funny how that engine fits inside the car just fine.

^ Its not funny its a god send. Your buddy with a GT35R turbo kit and Steve Kan tune is putting down the power that a stock ls6 would put down........ no waiting for spool either...

its handles same or better than any FD. it has better weight distribution than stock FD. see vid of my car and my friends FD on corner scales:
http://209.177.55.37/video/AX.wmv
mine was about 15 lbs more but had better weight distribution.
my ls1 - 50.5% front/49.5% rear
his stock FD - 53% front/ 47% rear

i think the v8 conversion is usually within 30 pounds or less of the stock fd weight. that turbo assembly weighs quite a bit.
