Dude, is not an STi is a regular 06 WRX TR. He posted that a stage 4 EVO 8 and
stage 2 EVO 9 make the same power as 06 WRX with only reflash + CAI + TBE + UP + VF39 + STi TMIC that about $2100 in parts minus labor. Thats F***ing amazing.

I guess I was assuming it was an STI because it made such nice power.

Thanks!

The TR is a pretty amazing car with the 2.5 liter engine.

Right now retail parts of ours (Stages 1 and 2) and a used STi turbo and TMIC I have about $2200 invested in the car. On 94 octane the car made 390 ft lbs of torque and 311 whp. It is an impressive machine.

Cost of the car was only $23,300.

I am looking forward to the new Lancer Ralliart that is coming that is meant to compete with the lower cost WRX.

I read most of the thread and didn't realise it was a TR until like 20 posts in... those numbers are impressive for such a cheap car. (David said he paid around 23k for it) I would really like to see how the car would perform on the track. I'd like to see a couple launches to see if that tranny/tcase can survive.
