The turbo has a .70 a/r on the compressor side and .58 on the exhaust side. i am hoping this will help me make my 550-600 wheel hp.

From his previous posts, he's already built up his engine to take more boost.

BTW, that thing is huge

That thing could eat my T3 and **** out T25's.

What a freakin' BEAST! I can't even imagine what the lag is going to be like, but once you start making boost it's gonna feel INCREDIBLE. Best of luck to you! Time to put those gorgeous *** pistons to good use!

Holy crap man... you should have just gone with the 80mm though... you'd find that it actually pushes more cfm at lower pressures resulting in higher hp at less boost. Also the spool up is the same for both. Good luck man that is a lot of turbo. Hope your motor can push it!!

yeah it's 80mm throat/plenum inlet size. Quite a bit larger than his but they spool low and cfm is high. They are actually capable of supporting 1200hp. Some honda guys i know use them to boost low pressure but cfm flow is high thus they get a good charge quick and at lower rpms. It takes a lot of work to dial in though. I don't now suburu's but i'm sure his turbo is probably a direct replacement for stock. The 80mm would require new headers and huge fuel system. I'm no turbo expert though so you can go onto honda sites to inquire. They are becoming more common on them for the reasons i stated above. Saw one honda of this type at Carlsbad last weekend. He ran 12.3 1/4 on 1.5L w/80mm turbo. Only pushing 4psi! He stated he dyno'd at 340hp to tires! He was gutted of course... and a hatchback DX i believe.

4 psi damn thats nuts. i bet that thing flows like crazy. but you have to understand that its flow over psi. turbos that done flow need high psi and turbos that flow good you can run lower psi. but in my case i wanted a certain flow at a certain psi so i choose my turbo accordingly to my car. since the motor is a 2.55 i dont see any issues with having to spool it up, also it is a .58 on the exhaust side making it the fasted spooling TO4R in production.
