Yeah make sure to tell them that when your t-case blows all over the track

I joke I joke. The new longer gearing supposedly makes it feel laggy. When I had my 05 it didnt feel laggy at all though.

A tuner from subaru of gwinnett has dyno #'s on iwsti.com on 07 vs 04, but nobody has tracked an 07 yet. Even then it only gives you an idea of how fast it is down the quarter mile. It seems to me that nobody knows how to launch his STI or shift at the right time. Say joe smuck runs a 12.3 then you get in the same car and run 11.9 it comes down to how its run.

it's funny yeah the 07's are downrated from 300 to 293 in 06 i'm pretty sure they had 300 but after they released the ltd versions i guess subaru downrated all of em. but i've driven a couple different highly modified sti's one had 500hp the other was like 350awhp or something like that i forget. But after driving those i still preferred to drive a stock one, it just felt better i guess.

VF43 that is, as oppose to the vf40 i said before, which was the stock Legacy GT turbo. Damn IHI's stupid naming game.

the only problem with those numbers at topspeed are that they're peaking at like 5300 so they probably will still run crappy times not being able to use those new longer gears

that was an early indicate of the tunes.. b/c the car is just recently tuned so aggresively... I know eventually that will change. regardless that is a ****load of torque guys! I mean if to me my 330 wtrq feels extremely great... I can't imagine over 400 w trq on a stock turbo spool up.

gotta love 2.5's. I had an STI and the torque down low and the transmission are what i miss the most. 25% more displacment cant be argued with. You know what the old saying is.....no replacment for ..... Anyway i know a guy with a 35R'ed STI and ive never seen an evo spool the big 35R that fast.

hey guys, to clear some stuff up.

The turbo is a VF43, but the ONLY difference in the wastegate, not the hotside or anything.

also the 07's feel laggy because they had a throttle issue from hte factory, where all of a sudden the power would "dip" and then hit really hard. The dealers now all have a reflash that SOA put out for the 07 owners.
