Is this your EVO losing to this MX6?
a kill is a kill
don't be silly , this is one a stirp...same condition and everything.
It's a ashme given that MX6 usually don't get any respect.
So suck it up, a kill is a kill...this proves the driver is more important than dynos and numbers.

Possibly driver error, tires, and weather. But the difference was only 0.2 seconds...thats not bad for the evo to catch up

Thank you....I am from Jamaica and we all say "eh-vo" also because of the name. I only started calling it ee-vo after Americans decided to give it and 'new name'
tow-mato, to-maato who gives a &^%
oh yeah...obviously not a good run....if I was the ee-vo driver I would be sick. I hoped he ran again to better himself, as the car is very capable.
That was pitiful. After watching that video, I felt sick!!!! I definitely wouldn't be there if I didn't know how to drive my EVO. It is just an embarrassment. That driver should definitely get some practice first. Gives a bad rep to us EVO owners. I guess we just have to suck it up!!

That track is in Cincinnati, I have ran there. The post is also on Street racing Dayton. I told the MX6 I would run him...I ran a 12.48 last Fri.
We will keep our eh vo's/evo's with a good name.

I'm surprised the tranny in that MX-slow didn't break, as those POS cars tend to do. Trust me, I used to own a POS MX6, and as God is my witness, I will NEVER own any of those piece of crap cars ever.
Enough with the clowning, you've prbably killed his soul already
It was only one run, it was probably one of his first times runnin his Evo at a track.
Im sure Launching an Evo for you Evo owners for the first few times wasnt like butter
One loss to an MX-6 wont ruin the rep of the Evo. As far as i know, the Evo has a very popular reputation and is awed at a lot.

No shame in a loss. Live and learn.
As for the MX-6 being a POS...I beg to differ. I drive my sister's bone stock '89 LX all the time and it's a decent little car (aside from the fact that it handles like **** because her suspension is ****). Don't forget that guy was running ALL motor on street tires and still posted a decent time. The 1g MX-6 GT's put out far more torque than HP and are great little sleepers. I haven't done more than basic reading on the 2g's though admittedly. Don't sleep on the MX-6. It doesn't take much to be fast in a straight line or from stoplight to stoplight.
EDIT: I shouldn't say "fast" in a straight line and leave it so open. What I mean is 13 second cars can be built from just about any import car shell for under 10g's. Very doable. He was 14's and running at atmospheric pressure. You've gotta give the guy credit for a good run.
