The brakes are hardly dependable, depending on your definition of the word... Replaced my pads and rotors earlier this week from heat damage. Not a big deal, those are supposed to wear out, but they also discovered that I am likely going to need to replace my piston dust seals as well due to heat, and that shouldn't happen. So, brembo, you suck.

From a styling perspective the Suby is a complete waste of sheet metal and I would only drive one if everyone spontaneously went blind so I wouldn’t be caught driving one. Buying an STI over an EVO is the equivalent of self-gratification, sure it’s fun for a while but quickly becomes tiring and you will regret you don’t have the real thing.

Evo is the one for me and this is coming from a Miata driver, so what do I know!

I had a 05 sti for five months then i became bored and traded it in for my evo and havent had a regret yet. the sti isnt nearly as responsive and is hard to make fast you can only throw on some exhaust and get an accessport then if you want more power its time for a turbo upgrade then you cant even get that big of a turbo or you will destroy your motor in a few months. Not to mention that here in Utah there are more STi's than civics and im not kidding.

07 STI's seem to be pretty good power wise. But what's killing me is that you need to buy a camber kit or coilovers right away if you want more than -0.6 degrees of camber up front or -1 in the back. And that's what you want. Stock Evo suspension is so much more adjustable. And they switched back to steel control arms too because they're tougher to break!? Is everybody rallying their Subaru?
I'd still get one tho

Glad you enjoyed it. I bet the car did not have the subaru reflash for hte 07, thats why the it might have hit the tq later and boost may have seemed to kick in later.

You my friend are in no postion to be judging any car. PERIOD. If you think the Miata sucks, you have never driven one. They have amazing handling, and are always a pleasure to drive. Not something I could say about the STi or my Evo.

I have driven a miata, they do handle great and are fun to drive but in my eyes they are still a b*tch car. l would not pick another car over the STI or Evo to daily drive, four dours a trunk and AWD... what more could you ask for? I am sorry you do not like driving your Evo... is that the reason your selling it?

Just don't get mad if a ***** cars kicks your *** at the track There are tons of cars I'd rather daily drive over the STI and Evo... M5, M3, F430, 911 turbo, Exige, etc.

^^^Those cars are plenty fast around a auto x track, and I would give credit where it is do. However that does not change my opinion of the car. And yes those cars you mentioned are on a whole different level compared to the STI, I would trade lefty for a 911 turbo

I was just playing around the Sti is a fine car. I am the kind of car guy that could have fun driving a geo metro. The Miata may be popular with woman but it is the most raced car in America must be alot of ***** car driving fans out there! And I am one I can think of one fan right now Randy Pobst loves the ***** car miata also happens to be a great road racer oh well and won a national championship or two in one.

the 07' STi power delivery is actually really smooth. almost no kick back at all. this will change after some mods though, TBE, Ecu.

The STI definitely suffers in stock form compared to the Evo. The aligment specs for the car factory are terrible and is within spec to have a little positive front camber. This kills front end feel. The other problem is the stock ECU tuner. With just a basic flash, the car really comes alive with a massive TQ surge at 3krpm.

It only takes a few small mods to bring the STI to where it needs to be to get a fair assesment of the car. Alignment, rack bushings, and a flash
