November 1986, the Rally Group-B events were cancelled.
Cars with 500hp could not participate to the world rally championship. Too dangerous.. However, there were still savage races where pilots could demonstrate their abilities, where anything and everything was allowed..
Amongst those races, was the Pikes Peak in Colorado, the most dangerous race in the world. This video takes you for the ride with Ari Vatanen in the very famous (then!) Peugeot 205-T16 Rally edition..
