maybe you didnt read fully... do we need to go digging up evidence of this? The Majority of asians tend to not like american products other then media, it goes for everything... gaming systems, cars, etc.. Im sorry if your in denial over marketing fact. Plenty of reasons why this is, but its not worth going into... and specifically we are talking about using the a car to pick up girls here.. which normally would never be a factor in meeting someone (unless your sitting on the side of the street double parked trying to yell out the window at passers by perhaps...)

Seem to be a lot of fools on this board wrecking these as of late! LEARN HOW TO DRIVE for crying out loud!!!!
^^I agree totally.

Common sense also comes into play here. Wet roads...shyte tires....SLOW THE **** DOWN!!!!
Im not opposed to anyone driving a fast / high powered car, but learn how to drive it and handle it in varying road conditions.

In his defense though.. the evo makes you drive fast, it just feels easy and you will not be able to get away with that kind of driving in wet conditions at other cars... stick tires on the evo wear fast.. they are expensive, not always changed right away... no tread on awd hurts.. not saying this was the cause but it seems like the awd can lead to a bit of over confidence and then something bad happens the minute your attention is diverted for even a second. Accidents happen, but people learn from them.

Still... You were driving too fast for the condition of the road. No excuses.

my friend is doing a LS1 rx7 as we speak. all parts motor and rolling chassis are in the garage, all for 15k and when I say all parts, I'm also talking about cam headers and heads. Hes hoping for around 450 whp when its all said and done. Surly with twice his budget you can pull off more power than that.

You could also get a mid to high mileage c5, and then supercharge it. easily done for 30k and a sick reliable monster

just to verify... supra is cheaper insurance then evo by a few steps... they are older with more mileage and not considered boy-racers like evos, stis and si's.

during the time i owned my supra (alil over a year) i rarely see stories of wrecks.... on evo community, it seems like a common occurences with all the young kids going over their head on the road.

Blaming it on the weather and tires ?????

I like the Mod'd Supra idea, but maybe you should take a few driving courses and get some amazing never slip tires j/k (hope you can laugh about it)....
