Hey guys, i recently aquired a Galant VR4 with 160K and was wondering who here also had one. I know they're rare cars but i've seen a couple around, and i know a couple of people here own them as project or sunday drivers. The one i have is in pretty good shape for its age but still needs some work... I don't personally own the car, i'm just driving/working on it for a couple of months for a friend which he's away.

 

I used to own one about 5 years ago. Great car, did allot of work on it. Beat allot of cars with it where the driver's usually had the "what the **** car is that" look on their face.

 

I'm looking for a service manual for it and well don't know what forums there are and shops that sell stuff for it. Any suggestions or hints would be great. I believe it has a 16G turbo, external wastegate, 550cc with a 250 walbro pump or something like that... I'm new to the whole turbo world so i'm doing a lot of reading before i touch the SAFC and datalogging programs...

 

I was a member of a VR4 community, I can't remember the address for it but you will find allot of help on the community.

I loved my GVR4, im thinking about getting another one. Great WTF factor when you spank a kid in a mustang.

 

I really want to get a VR4, but i'm looking at a Galant GSX now, which is rare and really reliable. Hopefully i can find something (either or) for a good price.
