Top gear: comment on new STI vs X

obviously ur going to be the 1st person who snaps when people are hating on ur engine... u have to live w/ the fact that the 4G63 is the engine that made the evo what it is now and the 4B11 has ZERO creditability yet.

Who cares what other people think your driving. When you mash the pedal and pass them then they just think.

IMO the new STI looks about a million times better than the big nosed EVO. I know which one Ill be buying.

I rather say I got spanked by something that looks like a hyundai than saying I got spanked by a EVO X with the new 4b11 "HYUNDAI" motor hahahaha... I know, I know.. its not a hyundai motor, its a part mitsubishi part HYUNDAI motor hahaha.. which btw is a time bomb.. ( I got a dolla on it) let's see who's the brave one to raise the boost.. lol

That is the funniest part about it all. Alot of current Subaru owners hate the new STI and alot of the current Evo owners dont care for the X. Also, I'd say it's the younger people who dont like the hatch. The best thing about a hatch is how practical they are. You can move furniture in a hatch!

Hatches are more than just a way to carry stuff. Its the mindset of carrying your stuff along or carrying your stuff with you. I am heavily into automotive design and the distinction between sedans with trunks and hatches is a lot more than you think in terms of market buyers.
Some people are more connected to the stuff they carry with them and to actually have those things sharing the same open space with the driver then putting it in the trunk in a seperate part of the car says a lot about your personality. I could really get deep into the explination, but I won't.

yes, most of the Subaru guy will say EVO X is ugly and new STi is batter looking car. and most of EVO guy will say the new STi if fugly and the EVO X is a lot nicer !! So I email both EVO X and new STi pics to my friend, he also into cars, but more like BMW and Mercedes, When he first time see the pics of both EVO X and new STi, he said he prefer EVO X , just from the pictures !! I guess the new STi with 5 door really hurts !! May be later Subaru will come out a STi sedan and we may change again. who knows
I think I like the STi better...Seems like its going to pwn the X in the category that matters...Performance
