they expect the US version to have about 300 hp, 0-60 in the low 5's. as far as how it stacks vs the evo, they said

"It's still blindingly quick and has the footwork to match, but now it's less raw around the edges and has some more road manners."

Just what I figured. Subaru will be a force to be reckoned with in WRC. I think the hatchback design looks extremely promising. Can't wait to drive it. A STI with better balance and less understeer will be a great improvement. Not to mention the functionality that a hatchback provides for basic A to B transportation.
