Not an EVO, but close.....
My buddy use to have a STI, dealer here in town eff'ed him out of his warranty. So he traded it in for a 350Z (which he really didn't like). So two weeks ago, I got back into an EVO. So I rode with him yesterday to go get his Subbie back. Went to Virginia, all the way from Cleveland. It was a nice and eventful trip. Here's a couple pix of the ride. Like I said, I know it's not a EVO, But it will do.

Damn, I feel for your friend. I drove all the way down to Huntington West Virginia to get my Evo and traded in my 05 OBP Sti. It was a really a good trip, and had so much fun, driving my Sti early in the morning through all of those twisty country roads. There's nothing like driving real early in the morning with no cars on the road, on twisty mountain Steep Roads

..he took the car in because he was getting a binding in the drivetrain. He comes back after a few, they were in the process, just got off the phone with a Subbie regional Manager, He said void the warranty!!!!!
They claim my buddy took his tranny out, had pictures of loose bolts, leaky fluid, and other things, that he didn't do to his car. They pulled sh*t appart, and snapped photos. So he comes in,,, argues, they threatened to call the Police. He leaves, traded it in the next day for a Z. Regreted it, now, he's got another.

That's another thing that Subies and Evos have in common- warranty on them is a myth. It almost made me sick looking at some of the stories of declined warranty work on both EvoM as well as NASIOC.
