2008 Toyota Supra Rumors (MERGE)
Japanese Ad for 2008 Toyota Supra
Another look at the 2008 Toyota Supra, this one from a scanned Japanese ad. It’s not the best look, but what the hey, it’s a look nonetheless.

i like the one in the topspeed page. except the front is whatever. The power sounds good though, interestingly enough, they are going NA. When I read the first page, I was like.. er. this is not true. But this topic has truly evolved, and definitely more accurate. No way they were going to come out with a slow $30,000 car. =P I can't believe topspeed compared it to S2k, RX8!, and 350Z. questionable source. haha
Why do people keep on saying, "oh it looks like this and this put together?" It's really hard to make something look comletely unique, unless you make it a total monstrosity from the 30th century!
Nobody is going to buy something that they don't recognize. For the most part if it looks to different people are not going to buy it, unless you're talking about weird mobiles like the Scion XB or the Honda Element. Sometimes "weird" sells, but in a business standpoint it's not a wise decision. If the new Supra looks like an Aston Martin that would be a plus, not a minus. There is a limit to what is acceptable and comfortable when it comes to designing a car meant for the masses.
