I would be tempted to say the 300zx because of how sleek it looks, but I hate how the door pillars look when you open them.

RX-7 and reliable never go in the same sentence together.

Get a miata.

Pop-up lights are OK but its just another thing that can go wrong with an ...elderly car. The 300zx just looks sweet. Even by the standards of today's cars... If you have a CLEAN 300zx it doesn't look outdated at all. Not true for the FC. PLus, if it's going to be a DD the most important thing is the interior. If I'm going to be spending alot of time in my car, it better be comfortable, and have all the features I want.

+1000000000000000

RX-7's are the last thing you should be looking at if you want a reliable DD.

300zx 4 sure. Don't even think about an FD unless you're going to put a LS1 in it the day you buy it; seriously the most unreliable car EVER.

Not trying to rain on your parade but eveyone I know who has had a FD has had to replace the engine and turbos. They seem to only last around 60K, don't know why but that's been my experience.
As far as a reliable DD I would buy a honda, but that's me.

Good Luck with whatever you decide.

e36 m3. no idea how it stacks up to the 300zx reliability-wise (i wouldn't imagine either are stellar), but one of the sexiest cars ever imo.

If you consider an rx-7 reliable, then everything else will be rock solid bullet proof indestructable to you
