S2K's...I find them all the time under 16 with under 50K miles...

legit..
You're right, I just randomly craigslist searched and found like 3 LOL. I didn't see the 2001 stipulation. I guess that rules out the ol' Nissan Z's and Mr. Deuces as well.

... And personally, I would have opted for a Cobalt SS with the vanity plates 'SSMOKEU.' But then I found my Evo for a cool price.

well I like the cobalt and all... but they mod like complete crap..

If you go on the cobalt ss forums, look at the highest hp one, they make a huge deal about then hitting mid 300's.

It took my freind a tune, 60 lb injectors, and intake to even keep up with my un-tuned, TBE having, drop in filter insanly pulled timing evo lol

Other than that, I would go with an IS 300. just straight badass, and the 2jz is a straight swap!
Well how much did changing/replacing all of that on the Evo cost you?

it truely is a good car. you kinda have to get the srt advice from the people that owned them and actually used them regularly at a track. They arn't apealing at allll unless you do some intense mods to the extierior. But poke around srtforums New England section. What I like about srt's is the uniqueness they add to them without ricing them out at all.

Check out BTR's srt or Uncommons.. they have one of a kind mods allll over their cars. BTR's car is flat out SICK!.. I think his car would change everyones minds about srt's haha.

I spent about $1500 on getting it running good, but that included a couple performance parts as well.

Has anyone said VW Golf? Those with the 1.8t can be nasty if you know what your doing, and from what I've heard they are reliable, but that's just what I heard........
