wow that thing is slow. i can care less about the ET. ET just shows you driver skills. trap speed tells you how fast the car is. just look how horriable the trap speed is. if the car can really only trap 111 mpg then its fuc*king slow.

i always thought the gtr was traping 120mph. in that video the car must be hiting the rev or speed limiter

I also thought it was slow as well but it was explained here on the first page that the US models are fitted with a governed top speed of 111mph.

The same car already trapped 121mph in Japan tested by Edmunds crew.

"More good news: For all the GT-R's stunning performance, it's hard to understand why any enthusiast in Japan would purchase a GT-R given all the restrictions and headaches. We seem to be in the clear, though; our sources at Nissan USA have told us no such GPS-based speed limiters will be placed on U.S.-spec GT-Rs, though it's unclear where we stand with the rest of the limitations."

^^ good info. I am hating it already, not the car but the factory policy.. $1000 to do a inspection after being ran hard, $230 per wheel in labor to do some sort of maintenance and the fact of having any alteration done to the car recorded in a 30gb harddrive located on the ignition key leaves the customer hopeless agaisnt factory warranty.

If this maintenance fees are turning to be true then this car will not be the cup of tea for many people.

Damn people are just never satified.

Nissan gives you guys a car that, IN STOCK FORM, beats a 911 gt3 around a track and has a superior drivetrain and motor. Yet you guys want to complain about them not giving you a warranty after modding and racing the crap out of it. Enough is never enough for some people.
