SE-R spec V
Oh no StreetLancer, for the power and speed my Spec V puts out I need all disc brakes. Hell I have already ordered AEM 15in. brakes for it, they should be in next month to help it out even more. And if they were sellin the regular SER in your area for 19 to start you should have reported it to Nissan, I only paid 17 (sticker price) for mine off the lot.
Yo evohunta!..Do u have a bodykit on ur se-r?..If ur planning to get one, check out www.jtautostyle.com!!..

The spec-v's a great car. Better than the current Lancer without a doubt. The rear brake thing doesn't hold much water in my opinion though.

Considering the weight and hp of the car I really doubt that. All wheel discs are far more of a luxury than a necessity. I happen to have a brake fetish, but it's more a matter of want than need. Even turboed Civics don't need discs all around.

I think that's a pretty decent estimate. Think of it in terms of inertia too. Since the entire weight of the car is being transferred forward as the car slows (same reason you fly forward in a car accident and therefore wear a seatbelt) the vast majority of your stopping power should be up front.
If you have billion pot 20' rotors in the rear I'm sure that'd help stopping, but they'd be a lot more effective up front.

I drove the SE-R Spec-V today, I gotta say, its better than driving the Lancer. It true that it handles better, accelerate faster, much for fun to drive. But its a little tight for me, smaller driving seat, I guess its because Lancer Cedia was meant to be a sedan. But Lancer has a better pricetag for it. Lookwise, I'd say if Lancer lose the front and get a Evo7 kit, I'm all up for it. SE-R I'm a little hesitate cuz I didn't like the big mouth bumper. The 17in wheels and low-profile tires are a plus. But also comes at a higher price. Thats just my thoughts.
