Turbo S2000 build thread 56k...haha

UPDATE: NEW PICS ON PAGE 3

Whats up everyone. My friend is boosting his S2000 and since were all car guys I thought that some of you might be interested it seeing what we're doing.

Let me give you guys a little background on what we're building the car to do. This isn't being build for drag racing, but it will be laken just to get a MPH out if it. He LOVES to be sideways and he does a great job with this car even though its not exactly what its make for. Hes shooting for 400whp stock internals, which like out 4g's isn't a problem for the F20. Its getting a 2mm head gasket, Precision 880cc injectors, Hondata K-pro, Competition stage 3 clutch, Precision 600hp intercooler, a walbro 255 battery in the trunk and we're keeping the A/C. Oh, ya the most important part, the turbo. We are using a Garrett 60-1 stage 3 wheel a .63hotside. Its going to be tuned by Synapse Motorsport in NY.

Manifold done and on the car:

Intercooler shots:

Sorry about all the pics. On the theory that a pic is worth 1000 words, I shouldnt have to answer any questions...hahaha

But if you have any feel free to ask! Thanks for all your support!

No...Its a stock rear diff.....I know I'm cringing too......BUT we been doing ALOT of reading on it, and they say as long as there isnt a SHOCK to it its going to be fine. There's one that makes 700whp and a stock diff and went to the track had a 3.0 YES 3.0 60' and trapped 141. SO......Hes giving it a shot, I think the plan is next year to do the diff.

According to the people that have done this many times before, it still gets enough air through the intercooler it cool it. its getting one or two, 12" slimlines anyway.

I have seen now a few vidos of S2k with turbokit and they definately earned my respects. I have seen some of the s2000 really kicking some real a$$ on the HWY(on videos). The cars weights nothing, handls very well and now with such inmense power it makes it a real nice fast looking car.
