G35 Coupe or RX8?
Aftermarket support will be much larger for the VQ engine in the G35 coupe/sedan/350 Z. Mainly because it has a history and a much larger market share. Also it will be used in an every increasing line of cars. The rotary is a RX sportscar only engine.
The G35 coupe is damn good looking too. the RX-8 is just awkward from some angles.
The Infiniti dealer experience is worth something also.

What is this EVO owners only stuff?
The Rx8 has a 50/50 weight distribution & weighs about 400 pounds less. It depends on how you drive. If you like the twisties get the RX8. If you like to ride in style get the G.

The following are RE Amemiya cars. As a reminder, RE Amemiya is the maker of the RE Super G RX-7.
Serious stuff.

RX8 is not all it is cracked up to be.....I test drove one a few weeks ago and was thoroughly NOT impressed......doesn't feel fast, too refined, plus the rotary engine sounds weird. Handles nice and looks hot but that's about it.....plus hp claims from mazda have been a little higher than actual output.......granted the G35 is more of a luxery sports coupe, but it has the vq engine so it very tunable! I believe Nissan is going to switch all their 3.5L v6's to 4.0L in 2005, at least that was the word on my350z.com. Also, the AWD G35 just came out....ATTESA all the way......however, in an article about the mazdaspeed RX8, they stiffened up the suspension like nobody's business, perhaps hinting toward the future release of an RX8 with some real power!!!!!.........either way, IMO G35 is much better car than RX8

i just saw a rx-8 on the road today. it had its moonroof up. looked like a catapult on his car. why are they angled so high? our evo's arent like that right? i hope.
