Redline's 9000 by the way.

 

Accessport raises redline to 9300 (or can, at least). If you plan on accessport buy from http://www.mazdamaniac.com/ and you'll get custom tunes in addition to the regular cobb tunes. Intake, straight pipe, exhaust won't get you much hp but will shoot pretty flames and be very loud. Lets put it this way - Stock rx8 rwhp = 175-190 or so while 'modded' rx8s push 185-215, highest na is 222rwhp on mustang (w/emissions)

Definitely not a car to buy if you hope to mod - NA its nearly pointless and good fi will run you $$$

For you Mazda maniacs.
Are the Mazdaspeed CAI and dual canister or single muffler exhausts just as good as the other stuff out there? I checked out the prices on the Mazdaspeed stuff and on some aftermarket stuff on Racingbeat.com and there really was not a huge difference. If the HP gains are similar, I would just as well keep the Mazdaspeed name on the vehicle.
