Is there a reason your not looking at new ones with 0% financing. I love my 08 Gti but it is a lot slower then the Evo VIII I had.

monthly payment is to high. like $400

also, update. I talked to the dealer with D. He claims his sticker price is $24,000. and that his internet price is $19,700 and he won't go lower than that.

I laughed at him and said i can get a brand new GTI for less thant $24,000. His response was that his GTI has all the features, to which i laughed again and told him it's just a base model and it doesn't have any more features than a brand new one. Then he tried to bullsh!t me some more saying it was a good deal so i told him goodbye.

So D is officially off the table

Have you checked the difference in payment between a used Gti at 5-8% and a new Gti at 0% you might be surprised. I agree with you on (D) that is base model two door gti classicx, interlagos plaid, and 6-speed manual are all standard.

yeh. i got a loan from my bank for 4.89% interest so i can buy one used. A used GTI between $16K-$18K for either 5 1/2 - 6years.
works out between $290 - $315 a month.

New GTI at 0% is at least $400 a month

Invoice on a Base model 2008 2-door Gti is $21,258 which you should be able to get or probably better. At 0% for 60 months not including sales tax this = $354 a month. Some dealerships are offering 0% for up to 84 months and remember the later 08' models swithed to a timing chain for less maintnaice and the new models do not have the pesky headlight washers that the 06' models have.

still to expensive, and i don't want to finance a vehicle that long. 6 years is already pushing it

i don't want to lease. Also i don't have $2K to put down

I've been over all my options, and which car to buy etc etc. I've gotten to the conclusion that buying a used 06-07 GTI with a few miles on it, is my best option

I am paying 351 with 12k a year... I also have no credit and did the Sign and Drive. I got the APR trial he told me I should data log and send it to you but I had nothing to data log with. I ended up just buying it at Waterfest.

LOL I got my plaid seats and iPod adapter that's all I wanted. The Autobahn package was like 2k extra. I think I'm just gonna stick with stage 1 since its a lease and do meth injection.
