Question which GTI?

Ok now that i decided to get a GTI. Which one do you guys think i should get? Here are my options. I am gonna get one this weekend

CAR A
LINK

CAR B
LINK
i talked to the dealer on this one, he said he'd take $17,000 for it

CAR C
LINK

CAR D
LINK
I talked to the dealer with D. He claims his sticker price is $24,000. and that his internet price is $19,700 and he won't go lower than that.
I laughed at him and said i can get a brand new GTI for less thant $24,000. His response was that his GTI has all the features, to which i laughed again and told him it's just a base model and it doesn't have any more features than a brand new one. Then he tried to bullsh!t me some more saying it was a good deal so i told him goodbye.
So D is officially off the table

CAR E

Make up your mind you bloody indecisive British tw@t- go with E- silver looks clean even if it's dirty, red is a cop magnet and insurance plot- BTW I like the wheels on E the best (easier to clean)

My choice would be E then C. You cannot go wrong with the 2.0t nice engine .I had a 1.8t Gti a couple of year back and loved it then got an R32 nice cars indeed.

Don't be a hater. Read, read and read more, the DSG 6 speed semiauto sweeps/wipes the 6 manual in every aspect..let me say it again:in every aspect:

acceleration
roll acceleration
gas mileage
driving comfort(no more mishifts)
reliability(no more ***ed syncros)

The manual is good but the DSG top it up.

I just recently bought a GTI to daily drive and its great... I got it manual to keep the car fun to drive since its kinda slow, I also went with the autobahn package for a little extra comfort.

Cheers!

I would choose B, but its auto. I like E as well. I evolved from a 2003 1.8T, and will always like Dubs.

Then why list it?!

See if you can work him down because that's a good price. If not get choice C. DSG is just no fun with these cars. I drove one and did not like it that much. I prefer my 6spd over the DSG.

I just recently got APR Stage 1 and it makes the car a lot more fun to drive.

Have a downpipe made but keep the stock catback... Sounds much much better and with the 2+ flash its nuts...

I went 13.8 @ 99.8 with a 1.85 60' on stock tires full wieght... With a 100 shot i went 12.9 @ 109.

Cheers!

^^ Your 1.85 60' on the stock tires is very impressive for a FWD. I did a catless 3"DP from ATP, a Eurojet catback without silencer, a Neuspeed CAI and a GIAC retune and the car transformed into a different beast.

I am taking it to the track this Friday and I hope to see 100mph traps(from 95mph previous). 98- 101mph is what Evos and STI trap stock here in Tucson so I am happy if I can get 100mph out of it.

Does you car have the factory launch control?
