which GTI?
Man, you should buy mine! I have a 2006 red GTI fully loaded, the only options that it's missing are DSG and navigation, everything else is there (like sunroof, leather, etc.) It has 15K miles, the only problem is that it's my ex-girlfriend's car but under my credit, so I'm financing that car!!!
Anyway, your options are basically the same, except for color and DSG in some of them. Drive them and get the one that you fill is in better shape. Good luck!

how much you want for it?
Crypto,
Do you homework bro, don't just buy the cars because of what people like. The color choice should be very personal but technically speaking the DSG is the way to go. Everyone is trying to duplicate this transmission but each manufacturers call them their own name
Some of the early 2006 models had fuel pump issues or fuel pump regulators due to the high pressure direct injection engine.
Please drive both(6 speed manual and 6 speed DSG), the rim and not a big deals, stockers are 17" but the 18" with round spokes are actually BBS rims.
You can live without navigation but it is a must to have the DSG.

yeh i'm gonna go for E. the 2007. I've done a lot of research, and i know about the issues with the 06's, which is why i will get the newer one.
I've driven 2 DSG's and absolutely love them. Easily the best transmission available. However, it's not absolutely essential for me.
If i can't find a decent DSG GTI, then i will get a 6 speed. Either one is fine.
