Wondering since I have a buddy that needs a new turbo for his 05 eclipse. He was wanting my stock 8 turbo but I said I needed to ask the pros if he can use it. Can anyone tell me if my stock 8 turbo will work for his 05 eclipse? He was told only the EVO III turbo will work for it. How true is that?

first off.... do you mean a 95' eclipse, not an 05' ?

second.. it will not work on a 2g DSM... if you haven't noticed, the evo engines are flipped around...(trans on driver side on an Evo, as opposed to trans on passenger side on a DSM)... so just try and think how that will not work... lol.

Thanks for the heads up. Not too familiar with his car being that I've never seen it, drove it, or any other eclipse like it. Thanks though.

 

no prob... and he its true about the turbo... as i have a Evo III big 16g on my car at the moment....
