hey everyone i dont own a evo but wish i did i do have a evo ecu in my car so does that count haha i have always been a huge fan of the cars and love them alot but i infact a 2000 eclipse GS-Turbo still a work in progress will be done next spring/summer time umm well here it is please read before judging though.

i like how you turbocharged it but the exterior is ricey. U should throw on an evo8 head on there since they practically pop in and you'd have a 2.4 evo stroker motor which you can gain more potential with dohc, also the evo8 ecu is usable as I've read up on this its just you'd need a p in or two swapped around or have it reflashed because the eclipse has different sensor arrays or something the rather. club3g.com is your friend.
i could be off on this, but it appears that between the cost of the car and the mods you've added that you've spent more than a decent used evo. i guess i don't understand the reason you're continuing to spend money to mod your car.
The price of a used evo with a ton of mods could buy you a new BMW. What's your point?

if you remember correctly these cars are not ment to go fast enless you have $$$$ and its a strictly race car like the eclipse that ran 6.93 at 198.9 MPH 1/4 mile well my car isnt that its a show car that i like to drive but soon i will onyl drive it to shows next year becuase i will be a complete show car so yeah
umm the EVO Head swap i have thought of it but right now i think its a now go enless i can get 1 really cheap.
but this is my car i dont see how its ricerish its not like i got a primmered body kit on a huge metal wing or a muffler on saying i have an exhaust my car is a low toned rumbled and roars when i step on it and come on it goes Whooosh lol im damn proud of my car. but thanks everyone for the input of the car ill keep you all updated.

you can buy a great used used evo for as low 19,000, expenses on your car in total have probably highly exceeded that! evo's run a 13.4 stock! I think this is what legal-z was trying to explain
hmm well this is the only tihng that bugged me on the post its why everyone mods there car becuase they enjoy doing it yeah i have spent enough money to get a evo but i ahve an eclipse and i love my car and doign the mods that i have done to it so far i am changing a few things drop adding skirts 18's and then adding the stock bumper with a new lip kit on it.

you should expect the bashin when u post this on an evo site.. and personally i hate the 3g eclipses.. BUT yours is very nice and well done!
This isn't an evo site, it's the Mitsubishi Enthusiast Network, and there are subforums for regular lancers and ralliarts in addition to evo's. I'm pretty sure his 3g eclipse can smoke most of the people in those subforums, thus why I don't understand this "holier than thou" stance against other cars.
