the new si isn't 160hp stock is it?..I'm pretty sure the lancer had the fastest 0-60 time between the SVT Focus and the SI Civic. Chill beyotches...yeah my exhaust adds about 50-60hp and the exhaust is another 45..no, I know it's probably 10 or so hp.., i made that note though because it isn't a 120 hp stock car..oh yeah, I have the RRM air scoop to keep my bay temp low and force even more air into the oversized filter.....

02 Civic SI - 2744 lbs.
02 Lancer OZ - 2701 lbs.

43 pound's lighter. Not that much of a difference in which he could make up by being by himself. When you had an extra passenger even if you did have 45 lbs. taken out.

Man that thing looks very

Del Sol buddy was gonna drop a 2.2L prelude engine, but was told and warned about how unsafe it is for the car, especially when you hit tight turns and start skidding out due to a total offset in body chasis ratio, front/rear.

As soon as I get pics I'll keep ya posted

Yeah that is very true. The amount of torque those H22's put on a stock suspension is tremendous.. In which my friend was wanting to put in a 95 hatch I believe an he was telling me about having to tweak the suspension an **** every few thousand miles or so..

Better off just upgrading suspension an dropping a GSR which will get your power an torque but will not over torque your chasis an put as much stress as the H22.
Just my opinion.

Yeah dude I'm interested in those pics.. No rush just post when you get them.

Heh was prolly one of those fake Si's he beat. I too can make a civic look like a Si with a trip to the local pepboyz.

Over torque?

My question is this, if the above statement is true, that what happens
to people that put in a B series engine, then turbocharge it, then put
nitrous on it, or put in a small thermonuclear reactor or whatever -
certainly they are producing more torque then a stock H22. Are
they having to tweak their suspension as you say? I always thought
that the engine was just physically too big to put in with out
cutting up the car and thus compromising the structural integrity
of the vehicle. Surely someone doing a swap is going to get an upgraded
suspension too, right? If not then even the change from a B series from
a lighter D16 would make a difference in handling.

Heh was prolly one of those fake Si's he beat. I too can make a civic look like a Si with a trip to the local pepboyz
Can you get the new hatchback style in something other then an SI?

He said he beat a Si just kinda assumed it was one of the thousands of fake Si's and type R civics Well if it's the new hatch it had to be a Si. But it still has more torque and hp, so he still would've lost unless the driver was just learning stick or really wasn't racing.
