Insane flat tire car damage at high speed

WOW!! I was reading back and forth on Vette forums and GTR forums and someone on a GTR forum was pissed that they had to wait two hours to resume their texas mile run due to a Corvette mishap.

The GTR owner was upset that he could only make two passes and that the Texas mile was shot down for everyone.

I then found on the Vette forum the picture of the damage Vette due to tire failure. Before you start talking smack about quality built and what not remember that his vette was fitted with non ran flat tires and he was probably doing 170, 180mph or more.

One pictures tells it all, the damage is scary. From what I can see the aftermarket tire desintegrated and rupture the carbon fiber fender completely. The structural internal tire ring also cut through sme electrical harness and I can also observe oil spill from the oil sump reservoir located at the passenger fender(aluminium cylindrical reservoir), Also the front bumper is gone... and even the door is damage in the lower corner $$$$$$$$$$$$

I don't really go 170, 180 mph or above that but now I might really consider keeping the stock OEM run flats for safety issues. It makes me wonder what explanation you must fabricate to have the dealer cover you the damage because you used diffrent tires and the accdent could had been prevented.

Damn, just damn, what was he thinking, running on a patched tire, he's lucky the car wasn't turning or else it would have flipped over.

Tire had a plug in it from a flat repair. Track shutdown for 2 hrs.
Epic fail. Not the tire's fault, drivers fault for being an idiot and racing on a plugged tire.

The second link is Nagtroc but I tried copy and paste on the link like 5 times and everytime I paste it changes the Nagtroc for the asterisc signs. It clearly seesm like it is protected against copying it but the link is www. N A G T R O C. O R G (Sorry I had to put spaces on the link but that is the only way I can type the web)
