According to a local GTR owner, Nissan is already working on the tranny issues. I like the R8 but I'd still take a GTR over it. Despite the few issues with blown tranny's, that car conitnues to impress the automotive world like no other from a performance aspect...just my .02 I'd like to see these two mix it up on a good track though.

Thats good, they work the bugs out of the car they are going to really make other manufactures rethink their performance cars. It has potential if they don't follow Mitsubishi's footsteps.

Although I really think this new R8 with more power is going to be killer. It has an awesome chassis, good awd, and now power. Only two things I don't like are the shift gates and those hideous wheels.

LOL...This dealer has 9 GTR's that he is selling at MSRP.

What the heck was these dealers doing before? Hoarding and then trying to charge 10-30k above sticker? Serves them right for being too greedy and now they are stuck with extra inventory.
