1988 Pontiac Fiero Formula
So, someone local is selling a Fiero Formula for a whole $500. The only thing the car needs to run is an alternator and a new fuel pump which would bring the total cost up to about $700 for a running car.
Other than that he stated a rust spot in the crossover pipe as well as a crack in the spoiler from a avacado attack. Crossover pipes run about $150, however I would rather save up for a complete turbo kit which would be about $4000 complete and leave the test pipes it has on it for now. Then to build up the engine.. pistons, rods, valves, rings, etc etc is offered as an entire Aftermarket performance kit for $1000.
So this being said, what do you all think about an '88 Formula for $700 running, then a total of $5700 turbo'd and modded at around 10psi with the possibility of increasing boost due to the upgraded engine. Think its worth it for a nice little project?
