Okay, Pete has decided he is going to start a diary on his Cordia, now that stuff is starting to slide with it getting done 
Ssssoo.. here we go.. starts off, gotta 1986 Cordia GSR, with a blown turbo, unregistered, with a bov, 3 inch exhaust, spare dum pipe, battery, perfect seats, interior a lil dodgy.. also 1 bar boost
.. other things are needs paint, a new panel, has a turbo timer and stuff like that... nothing really started happeneing, until last night..
Last night, as i said in my other Post, me and Eon ( from Chosen Motorsport) put the TC06 Turbo together with the new seal kit, all ready to be blinged into the engine bay...
So tonight, here i was searching for 45 minutes around town looking for a piece of 2.25 inch rubber pipe, that goes between the intake crossover pipe, and the carby/efi itself ( btw, this cordia has a fuel injected carby.. just to confuse you more
)
After pissing aorund so much, i found one, got my 5 litres of oil, hose clamps and some stuff to modify the return oil from the turbo itself..
So i started bolting on the turbo, got that all on, intake crossover pipe, and found that on the turbo itself, one of the bolts of snapped off inside
fuggin idiot old owner he was..
So, as bodgy as can be.. left it in there.. so the turbos mounted to the exhaust manifold by 3 bolts and silastic.. a mans best friend
So depending, on whether my new lancer springs come in tommorrow finnally, ill be getting the new clamps, and taking out that broken stud ( no not me, the bolt
)and fitting it all properly together..
Hopefully this weekend will include fabricating the new radiator mounts, so i can bolt the aftermarket ( well from another mitsi at least) radiator in, and finally crank my baby over !! woo woo.. but thats all in due time

pushed her up on it, and then when we got to Eons, just pushed it til it stopped in the yard 
Yaaaaay, its only 8 am, and ive already bought the other hose clamps.. woo woo !

Okay, so, the Turbo is rebolted on ( i did it on friday night after the post above), and all the oil lines, intake and air box are all hooked up... YAY!
Last night i dropped the radiator off, so after work tonight, involves sorting out how to fabricate the new mounts for the radiator, and then to rip out the immobiliser so we can get the car started without having to worry bout that ****..

WOO WOO !!!
Man, tonight was a phat night !!
Eon decided, that wed get this going tonight without the radiator in, so..
After hotwiring her up, removing the immobilser.. we gave it the first crank in her life for me as the owner, and wow, 2 cranks, she kicked over !!
Although atm it doesnt idle properly, the car isnt together properly, so i thought, lemme see if itll pull up n down the driveway, and yes, it did ! so the gearbox n clkutch are fine !
Were gunna do the radiator this weekend, so we'll hopefully have the engine bay completed within the next week hopefully !
So, if i can tape the sound, i will for ya's

Okay, Todays Friday.. i aint got no job.. and i aint got **** to do !
Not really, im at work, pondering on where to buy some vacuum hose for the BOV, so itll open fine..
I checked inside of it just then, and there seems to be a lil oil.. but that might just be from when we built the turbo, Eon lubed her up pretty darn well, so it could just be that...
I've started my search for the radiator holders at the bottom, as of really good news that, the Cordia and Magna Radiators are the same !! Yay !! I dont have to make any mounts..
Oh the joys.. this could be the 2nd best thing to sex atm.. heh

Okay, this weekend was the thing i was waiting for..
I got the radiator in, Exhaust On, and then decided, what the hell, we'll crank the car again..
OH HELL YES !! The Car not only cranked perfect, it idles, it has no dead flat gas spots, and the bov releases perfect !!.. omg..
Before it was running rough as, and no, with the exhaust on intake closed, it runs fine... what gives ?
So, Eon decided Saturday night, thats enuff proof for him that it drives, so.. what else could we do ? We took it for a few laps round the block, then decided.. will it pull a skid ? And yes, it does !!
So, all i gotta do is keep searching for my panel and headlight, get it bogged n painted, and voila, licence time !!

I've been neglecting this thread, so i thought an update would be nice 
okay, everythings in, the last part im trying to source is the panel !
the exhaust needs refitting and actually putting gaskets and everything in to stops the leaks, and the radiator is perfect ! the car doesn't get hot, it idles extremely smoothly, boost is nice but laggy, but, thats what you get !
I have had thought of selling it lately, but ig uess thats because i've had a few other projects going on at the same time, but, i guess all in all i wouldnt sell it..

Okay, we had it running up on blocks last night just basically idling in first gear, and it has developed a lean in the fuel mixture, causeing black smoke, which im pretty much sure is either the fuel pump has finally startted coming clean and catching up, or the intake is blocked, which im going to have to strip to clean out.. how fun !!
