He has screwed over many many people across many platforms. Anyone that is serious about their car will not even whisper his name due to the crap he's pulled.

Ask anyone thats met the guy, they'll tell you hes a snake in sheeps clothing (no pun intended). All he cares about is making a buck. His mods are a ripoff anyways. You can get the same degree of work done by other reputable shops for a fraction.
Hennessey is very good at creating extremely fast cars, promoting them via car magazines, and selling go-fast parts.
But there's a long history of customers whose cars were never finished/returned, returned incomplete, returned in a non-functioning manner, etc. People have gone to his shop and found their car in pieces, with parts being put onto other customer's cars. Of course, this is all internet, so I would take it with a grain of salt - but there are a LOT of these types of complaints. And more telling is that when you find a complaint, Hennessey is not far behind, and he is one of the most obnoxious, foul, vile internet thugs you will ever encounter.
And, as ckim pointed out, you can get a lot more for a lot less from other shops such as Lingenfelter. In the case of the GT-R, Vivid will get you to 700 HP for $6k+install, and another $4k for the KW Variant suspension. If anyone is willing to pay $28k to install that, let me know, I'll do it.

met a guy cruising about a month back with a gtr, i asked if he was planning on modding it he said he was waiting to see what hennesey was coming out with. and then i spent at least a half hour trying to convince him not to haha even consdiering ams is just down the strreet he was insistent ams wouldnt match the work of hennesey. i never knew henn was a dbag hope he doesnt waste his money.
