2009 Hennessey GTR600

John Hennessey is up to it again... this time with the nissan GT-R
this, i think, would be one hell of a road-going car. i wonder how this uber GT-R will fare with his other creation, the hennessey viper head-to-head...

That is absolutely insane performance. I notice they didn't mentioned anything about the transmission being beefier..

I didn't look at the article you posted but from what i read in a magazine it ran a 10.8 @ 130 IIRC and the launch control was limited to 2700 so it was as hard on the trans. Also 2010 GTR's launch control was lowered to 3000 to save the trans. The one in the Road and track magazine used under performing tires on the car so the handling with coilovers was actually worse then a stock one.

Hennessey sucks A$$ in my books.

Horrible service, incredibly rude to customers, and total rip-off.

You can buy the similar package from HKS GT570 Kit for $5,700. I have no idea why people respect Hennessey. I got to at least say they are pretty good at Marketing, too bad that's really it.

5700? link? i've seen cat-backs on the GT-R going for thousands of dollars. this looks sick, and considering there are people who paid 100k+ for their GT-R with dealer mark up, this doesnt seem at all like a bad package.... ur basically going to smash on cars 3 times the price... kinda like an evo!!!!

Here are few misconceptions about GTR and their owners:

1. Yes, few idiots did pay over $100K, but most people paid close to the "new" MSRP.
2. Yes, there were few vendors that were selling exhaust for $5K~$25K, but now there are catbacks for $1,800.
3. If you're complete moron, yes Hennessey package is a good deal.

Wonder how long it'll be before Hennessey starts ripping off GT-R owners and then threatening physical violence when they sue him.
