Edmunds is showing 28.8k invoice. If anyone is able to get one at this price I will jump on the bandwagon hell I was on the wagon when I heard its going to be 31k. And the ls3 has endless aftermarket support. Def top 5 for most performance for the dollar.

This is the first car since the evo ix that i've said to myself: i'd really consider buying it.

I saw a few at sema and then one driving down the road in chicago.

This is going to be a monster in a straight line.

A RWD muscle car, how exciting, never seen one before. Fact is they're worthless in winter, I'll go ahead and keep my EVO as it's pretty much ideal for a daily driver. (The 3 inches of snow on my deck are a nice reminder.)

As do I, as far as looks go. Unfortunately, they're currently only auto and weigh near 4,000 pounds. Hennessey was only able to get it to trap 121mph with their turbo kit. When I went to look at one, the dealer was not budging on the 45k sticker on a car that's a year old. But the looks are amazing.

Wow.

I didn't know GM would price the SS version so cheap.

The car certainly meets the "bang for the buck" criteria.

Now I'm curious how Ford will combat this car...........

The Mustang GT's 4.6 V8 is not enough; time to bring out the 5.0 V8.

That's a very valid concern. I heard the same things about mitsu when I bought my Evo shortly after their bailout in 04 but just kind of shrugged it off. Seems the same could be a concern now as well. My largest concerns lie in parts availability rather than warranty services though.
