Depends on if I felt like putting na brakes and slicks on the car. Also have a PPG DogBox trans for it. Even at 3600lbs the car should still run high 8's with the dogbox on slicks. I may actually take it to the track just to see what it will run on 345/35/18 drag radials. I think the record on 18 inch drag radials is something like 9.90. It would at least be interesting.

 

Beautiful car none the less.

However:

At that dollar value spent - I would hope for 8's.

Given the car its self - I would realistically expect 9.8+ with slicks and a professional driver.

I disagree. Ryan ran 8.50 in a full weight Supra with an 88mm 3.4 set up which is pretty much the same as I have. Yes he sprayed in 1st to spool but I can easily put the PPG back in which means I don't have to clutch to shift the car which should make up that difference. Also a 100 shot would make it even faster. That and I have much more room in the well with the mini tub and can run a 14 inch slick if I want to. The car would certainly go 8 something. No question. That and it will do 240+ mph on the top end.
