'91 mr2 turbo pricing help

i have a 1991 toyota mr2 turbo.
how much can i get for it?

only 19,099 miles ( yes, original miles)
Absolute mint condition. no rust, no nothing.
Looks like it was just made and drove off the lot
Completely stock.
it even smells like a new car lol.

i want to know how much i can get for it.
if i put it up on ebay i would start the bid at 25k

is that too high? or can i get more?
i will post up pics later

its a ****ing beauty!

Your going to have to find someone that will pay that much money... I prefer the '93 myself but you shouldnt have trouble finding someone that WANTS the car.. but your going to have to SELL it to someone to get that price. In this market I just dont see an enthusist thats going to be willing to spend that much money on the platform.

Good luck!

thats really too much?! wow i thought it would be worth alot considering it being so clean and such low miles. its been garage kept since it was bought. never touched snow or anything. full synthetic oil. and only driven on Sunday every few weeks to Chicago and back. never modded or anything

its a fast car and fun as hell to drive. especially when that boost kicks in, sucks u into the seat.

i have seen them being sold with alot of miles and not even close to the quality (body) of mine for like 12k.

damn

The only chance you have is trying to pass it off as a collectors car.. You might be able to get lucky and grab someone at 10-15. If you're extremely lucky.

i think the reality is that there is no "collector" market for that car----yet, so you are going to have a hard time getting a huge premium for it, especially in this economy. I know this is going to sound crazy, but for it to really be worth money now, it would have to have only a couple of thousand miles on it and even then it might not sell. There was a guy a while back with a '95, 3rd gen rx-7 for sale with less than a thousand miles on it and he couldn't even sell it for the sticker price. Keep it and don't drive it or just mod it and be done. You'll be ready to retire by the time it's worth any real money.

If you could find the right buyer, it might have 15 in it... but it would probably take a while

I cant see anyone purchasing it for no-where near $25k. Maybe if it was a supra. Not the MR2. Keep it.

As cool of a car as it is, there are "Super cars" that perform better and are newer that go for that money. Used Boxsters are good examples and even early 90's 911's can be seen for that. An NSX will even be seen for 25k in this market.

30k for double the miles but for a much more exclusive MR car.

Keep in mind, KBB on that car is less than $6k I think you'd be insanely lucky to get $10k.
