You must not be looking very much at all.

Nice Dan. Haven't seen you since I stopped moderating DSMtalk. I've toyed with the idea of picking up another 2G and that pic really makes want it that much more. I really miss the blue GST I had. I didn't want to sell it, but it sat undriven for almost 6 months after I bought the Evo and it pissed my wife off.

Whats up buddy! Yeah, I kinda stopped DSMtalk after I spun a rod bearing in my GSX about 2-3 years ago! Finally I picked up an Evo in midst of building the GSX, and just abandoned the GSX project all together. I can tell you I definitely missed the off-boost power of the GSX over the need for boost of the Evo!

I miss the low throttle power of that engine too. The Evo screams higher up, but down low is lacking whereas the GST pulled like a freight train all through the RPM range. I ran a 2.3L for a while and had an STI for about a year (a lot of fun off boost) but now I'm back to a 2.0 and the lack of low end torque is frustrating.

I just sent the clutch off to Tilton for repair so when that gets back it's time for the Buschur fuel rail and another trip to 40psi on the Q16 to see if I'm still leaning out. Hard to believe twin fuel pumps and 1000cc injectors aren't enough but like David Buschur said, when you get to 700awhp the stock fuel rail becomes an issue. I might have to step up to 1200cc and disable the pressure reliefs on the walbros too.

Awesome pickup, love the setup especially the wheels but please take all the stickers off of the body. Drop some Evo recaro's or actual race seats and finish off that race look the car has going. Rite before i bought my Evo i was looking at buying a built '98 gsx but a few things changed my mind on it. Theirs times i wish i bought it and tons of other times where i'm happy i didn't.
2 questions, What suspension is the car running? Any plans to get it to the track or on a dyno any time soon?

Well, I am not sure about that. Maybe people who can afford GSX can't afford to have another Evo? or Evo owners just don't care to have another old school DSMs?

I really don't see them together in a same garage.

Seems like tough times hitting with Evo owners. Same speed can be had, but cheaper, hahaha. Congrats.
