The 7 speed paddle shifter shifts quite well, and is one of the best Automatics I have driven. The handling is insanely good as well. I sing high praises for that car, and would own one, but I have to take more than 2 people in my car.

Fortunately I can drive one whenever I want..
Since when is 370z faster than the evo?
from road & track stats:
370z 0-60 = 5.2 1/4 = 13.7
evo 0-60 = 4.9 1/4 = 13.6

the 370z traps considerably higher in the 1/4 mile than the Evo 9 or 10, especially the automatic 370z's. IIRC a mag got a freakin' 108mph trap speed for the 7spd auto 370z. they're no slouch especially from a roll, where aero (huge advantage for the Z) and gearing play a bigger role than the AWD launch for the Evo that gives it those nice 0-60 and 1/4 ET times.

of course, getting any Evo to trap 110mph is a few hundred bucks away, but stock for stock the 370 is not to be taken lightly...it is an awesome performer.

The Z starts behind. It requires some added plumbing, cooling, (not sure how the space underhood is, but I've seen it done) etc. Nice to have the option of both, though. They definitely made the 37 a lot nicer than the 35, and it certainly isn't a slouch as a stocker.

From a dig the Evo will win. Rolling start, especially at speed the 370z will pull away. So I guess its a matter of when. I do know from "at speed" my GFs stock 370z will pull from my stock Evo.

But I guess its all who you are gonna listen to. R&T is an american car mag...I rarely trust those these days. Usually the British mags are far more truthful, with much better tests. However I dont even need a mag. I can go out and test it quite easily....
