After spending a month in Germany and being around Ingolstadt a lot, I can say I definitely would pick a new S5 in black.

OT: Also got to ride in a Porsche Panamera

S5 is a pretty good looking car.. they still turn my head when i see them.. end of the day though its a hellafied VW to me.. Go for the m3 or atleast test drive a used M5.. Trust me... Nothing feels like an 8400rpm v10..

Personally, I'm not impressed. While it's a good looking car it is almost too similar to the regular A4, with the exception of quad exhaust and S4 badge. As mentioned before, if you want an Audi go for an S5 or R8.

I'm excited for this new design to be released. I am looking forward to how it performs. I wish they went back an redesigned the 3.0L V6 bi-turbo engine. There were just quite a few problems as the mileage increased with them. But, I bet today if they did a newly designed bi-turbo it would be beastly.

I would have to say pass on the Audi.
I say get the m3 but iam biased since I do own an e92 m3.
The sound of the v8 spinning to 8400rpms with an exhaust is
intoxicating

+1, I do love my X MR, but the new M3 is one of the most well balanced cars I have ever driven.

Carlos,

OK, I'll make my advice short and sweet.

1st choice. C63.
2nd choice. Wait for the Audi RS4.

I would take the deal-of-the-week on the C63.

Then take it up to Kleeman in Colorado Springs...585hp.

Jim

PS: For you viewing pleasure...

Guys,

I ordered a 09 C63 AMG with P2 and leather package and I-pod accesorie. They gave me a $11000 off the MSRP plus a tint window job.
The car is red and is on its way here from Cali. I got an allocation from another Mercedes Benz dealer.

*** Audi with their cheap a$s zero dollars disccount and their low a$s trade-in offer . Screw Cadillac with their ridiculous $2500 offer/disccount. Screw BMW with their hesitation to appraise my car when I specifically made an appointment to do so, their excuse: we will appraise whenever you show us you want to buy a car from us.

Mercedes Benz has been a first class dealer to deal with. Their loan car is a C300 (until my C63AMG gets here in 2-4 days).

You can get a C63 AMG right now for up to $14500 dollars off, a few people got them, I am happy with my deal($11000 off and a decent trade in considering my Z06 tires were bold and would coist $2000 to replace).

I'm going to Utah in a couple weeks for a visit and I'm curious if MB is offering the same incentives? He's a USAA member as well.

To be honest, he had an '07 Passat with the 3.6L before the S4 and he feels the VW was a better deal for the money (technology wise). Both the VW and Audi have had their times in the shop though unfortunately.
A few clarifications:

a) Your fathers 08 S4 is a V8 N/A, the 2010 is a V6 Supercharger
b) The 2010 don't have any incentives at all because they are too new, I don't know where you got the $9000 off. That might be the 09's which are V8.
c) As far as being curious about the MB incentives, well, the incentives are going from $7500 from the factory plus USAA membership plus whatever disccount the dealer might want to give you, I just got $11000 off

What about an RS4? Beautiful cars.
It is not all about going superfast. The Z06 obviously does a great job on that but the MB C63 AMG is now what I want for my family.

I would have done a RS4 if they had a $11000 off. This was a determining factor.

Dude, I can't walk on water. The R8 is far beyond my budget, I am an average middle class guy. Let me guess.. if you are going to go with a Ferrari get the Enzo right?, if you are going to go with Porscxhe get the Porsche Carrera GT right?

C'mon dude!

Right now is nationwide. MB headquarter authorized a massive disccount. You don't have to negotiate much, the incentive is there to begin with at $7500 plus other incentives like USAA plus whatever you can negotiate. Apparently many people are getting the max $14500, I just don't know how much dik you have to suck to get that much disccount.

All I can tell you is that I am getting a $64000 dollar car for about $53000. Once you contact a MB dealer they will search thorugh the nation to see how many more 09 C63 AMG are left in the country. There are still a few hundred in the country selling for stupid cheap so you still have time.

Your local dealer can find you one and bring it to your door for about $300. Best of luck and contact me if you want to get one.

I must agree. I love the M-3, I would have got the sedan.
