My jaw just dropped, never would have thought it was a celica. Major props to you man for doing something way outta the box. You truely have some skill.

 

what color will you paint it Johann? What happens with the car when you're finished? Do you get to keep it?

Its going this crazy red color I think. Its Basically a silver toner with prismatic flake with a special candy I designed with massive amounts of red pearl. So because of the prismatic flake hitting every color of the spectrum it will do it inside of the tint of red. It should color shift from bight tangerine orange to a dark maroonish color.

The car goes back to my ex fiancee since its her car. No I do not get to keep it. I have my Lego I like it more.. I get the credit for building it but if she keeps it to the cars original plan you'll see it at PIR next year.

Are you going to drive this thing on the road? it seems like its a race car.. And it looks meaner then all hell as is.

Not for a while I think. I have to finish this car and I have have another after this that's getting a complete engine overhaul. Custom Turbo kit, V-Mount Tucked brake lines and wiring clean up engine bay metal etc...

I also have a 2002 RS that I bought from a friend to help out of a jam and I have all the parts to turn it into a legit WRX, wiring, motor, tranny, brakes etc.. so I am going to finish that and sell it. Once its sold I'll have the time and money to boost the lego sometime in the winter after auto X is over.

I got a few parts for the build already so I might build the longblock now on a stand and start getting some of the parts so I can do fabrication when I have a spare min or two.

For now I just tore into it this past weekend and jazzed it up a bit for an upcoming car show so at least its presentable till I can give her some more power.
