Conv, 4 seater, that's fun???
Looking for some opinions from those who have driven/owned a fun convertible four-seater. My wife is looking for a fun car for a daily driver. Requirements: convertible, automatic, must seat 4 (kids in the back but these kids will get bigger). We have driven a Mini Cooper S, Mustang GT, 335i, and 135i. Others being considered are the M3 convertible, Lexus IS350, and Infiniti G37.
Now remember, this is for my wife and even though I liked the Mustang and have test driven an M3 in the past and loved it, my wife does not have to have an extremely powerful car. The price of the M3 is a big check mark in the "con" collumn. She really likes the responsiveness and the "fun factor" of the Mini, but also loved the comfort and power in the 335i. Just looking for some opinions on the intangibles that are related to owning any of these cars, and any others cars that would meet the requirements.

One of his requirements was "fun." Although the only other car not mentioned in that price range is the Eclipse Spyder.

Next level would be G37.
Beyond that you start getting into German luxury which I think from what you have said is out of your budget.
