My new car!!

Due to financial issues and not being able to afford to do track days (much less race my evo!) I had to sell my wonderful 2003 BBY evo I bought brand new in june of '03
But, I replaced it with a 250cc shifter kart that is absolutely insane! I don't think I've driven anything faster than this thing! Not to mention I can get a spare set of magnesium wheels for less than one tire for the evo!

It would be fun to drive it to work! At least most of the roads would be smooth enough for it. My evo had gotten so focused for the track it wasn't much fun to drive on the street anymore, I just used it for track days. Driving around with -3 deg. of camber is a chore, kind of, um, I miss the evo

I'd love to have one of those to autocross and take to track days.

I did the same thing although I'm still trying to sell the evo. Front brakes means business. Have fun and be safe.

The best part about karting is that you can make a track out of just about any parking lot if you don't have a track close by. Not to mention the amount of money to run a kart for a season is pennies to racing the evo. My local track cost less than 300 bucks for a season pass. I paid that for 1 day in the evo and that didn't include the gas, tires, brakes, fluids...

That's my thinking. There is a really good kart club in the DC area. They have events at summit point and other smaller tracks around here. This isn't a true 250cc super kart with a TZ250 or honda RS250 motor in it... it's got a CR250 motor, about 55hp on a good day. plenty for 185lbs wet! now i've gotta look for a cheap pickem up truck

Then you are doing it wrong. A search for "shifter kart" brings up all kind of stuff for me.
Look up track magic, birel, CRG, etc...
