Have you or your wife driven a beetle? The visibility is WEIRD, the dash is huge and it's an awkward driving position.

Maybe look at the mk4 gti / jetta with a 1.8t or vr6 instead. 2003 model year and up.
My memory maybe fading, but weren't the beelte 'S' 200hp?

Either way, the K03s is only capable of ~205whp, 260wtq ~20psi......
Well atleast what we maxed out my buddies 1.8T on SEM on a dynojet...

I can't stand beetles, I wouldn't do it, my GF in highschool had one, couldn't stand driving it and not because I'm a man, because the car was lame (IMO).... Look for atleast a GTi if you wanna go that route.

mk4 1.8t jetta or gti >turbo bettle. same motor withouth the lame egg shape and awkward driving position. i dated a girl that had one and i drove it around the block once just to see what it was like. the interior is all hard plastics and its just bizarre otherwise. for prob. the same money a jetta is a better car

Yeah you should definately consider a mk4 R32, it may squeeze in your budget but maybe hard to come across one.

The 1.8T's are nice as they are easy to juice out up to a little over 250hp with just ecu, too bad they never built mk4 1.8T GTI with 4 wheel drive... If you lived outside the states, older S3 have been the perfect car for you, 225hp from the 1.8T, awd, little better looking interior and exterior than GTI, but pretty much the same car

R32's a nice MKIV is my fav.... I still really want one, I guess its a vdub thing....
You can find them for decent miles around $16-18k...... $12-14k with closing on 100K miles...

The issue with R32's is vw croud think they are Gold, so ppl still ask ridiculous amounts of money for them

But now I see some ppl realize the light
