GM's CTS-V Challenges America to a race!

So I was watching the local news today and saw this gem of an article:
http://www.clickondetroit.com/news/2...8/detail.html#

The main site:
http://www.ctsvchallenge.com/

Looks like GM is issuing a challenge to everyone that wants to race the CTS-V in a time-attack style race. I'd be interested to see if there are going to be any Evo drivers that enter, and take GM up on their challenge!

Anyone? Rules state that the car cannot have mods...but whose to say that you can't sneak in a custom dyno tune!?

Well...now that I think about it, stock vs stock I'd say the CTS-V looks nice. Not sure if you could say it can out handle an Evo though...what do you guys think?

CT9A/CZ4A vs the CTS-V. Discuss.

yea the cts-v looks pretty darn dominant. stock vs. stock it would kill the evo, but then again, i don't really feel like they're in the same class.

I don't think there are enough "stealth" mods an EVO can have to hang with a new CTS-V.

Ditto. Having driven a CTS-V, no way an evo with less than 350hp is going to hang in any way shape or form.

This is why needs to quit pussyfooting around in the stock horsepower dept. They should have an FQ400 USDM model.
