I've owned two Supras a 97 with bpu upgrades and my current car which is a 98 with an old school Greddy T88. Even at bpu levels the car is a blast to drive. It doesn't take much $ to get you to 400 rwhp.

The car gets a lot of attention which isn't always a good thing. All of a sudden eveyone wants to race you. IMO it wouldn't make a good daily driver...not that I do. I've always been a fan of the 3000GT but from what I've read they are very problematic.

 

supra all the way, VR4 is a tank " You ever have to push one"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

what I want to know is what RETARD thought a vr4 holds a candle to a Poopra? Seriously! That 6spd Getrag gear box is a brick **** house.

 

it's hard to find a supra that isn't 25k plus...I've been looking

 

buy another evo !!

 

takes 700whp to get down the track in 14 seconds. Ok maybe a little less than that but you get the point.

On my brother's Supra every single item in the engine bay broke. He was always replacing something and everyone wanted to race him no matter where he went. It got old quick so he sold it. Plus the thing is so unbalanced in the corners its like driving a tank. EVO FTW!

 

your bro must bought a beat up supra man. i think toyota are pretty reliable. my friend just bought a t88 3.4 liter titan supra for 50 grand, it's look just like a brand new car , very sweet clean looking supra and dyno at 1025 whp with race gas.

does anybody here know of a bad *** 3000GT ???? what can they be pushed to??How strong are they on stock internals and block??Its just there is something sexy about the all wheel drive and stearing..I know the supras bad *** but how bad *** is the 3000GT is what im wondering??

 

i was wondering what most people would pic on this site...Im thinking of buying one or the other and saw some videos of some fast 3000GTs and i love mitsubishi..
