This isn't the actual car I had, but the same color and type, 1979 Ford Taunus, Dad got it for me when I was living in Germany with him, 50 dollars.I learn to drive stick and tore up the Autobahn with that car.

LOL, it was an on base auction, closed bid. Nobody liked the lime green. It had no muffler, the back seat was gone. No radio, speedo didnt work. I worked at a Robin Hood Sandwich shop on the Army Base in Baumholder, every penny went into getting that car running right(and some went to my kick *** Commodore Amiga system,LOL). I learn how to install audio and bondo with that car!!!

170 ci inline 6. Probably put down about 100-120 hp. 2 speed auto trans. Slow as **** but nice to cruise in.

That may or may not be my exact car. Who knows who owns it now. Bought it when I was 16 (1997?) put a lot of work into it. Sold it at auction in 2001.
