Lexus LFA Nurburgring edition!
Lexus adds a 'Ring handling pack to the LFA. When's the lap time going to be announced?

Although the first customer deliveries aren’t due to start until 2011 Lexus has already announced that a limited run of LFA’s will be produced with a track-focused Nürburgring package.
50 of the 500 LFA’s Lexus is producing are earmarked for the Nürburgring package treatment that sees aerodynamics, engine, gearbox and suspension all tweaked. The changes add up to an overall package that focuses on improved driving characteristics rather than outright speed.
A larger front spoiler, side fins and fixed rear wing provide additional downforce whilst an extra 10bhp has been liberated from the engine to take power to 562bhp. Gearshift times have also been cut to 0.15 seconds though the 0-62mph time and top speed remain the same at 3.7secs and 202mph respectively. Revised sports suspension and a new wheel and tyre package complete the makeover.
Buyers will also have the option to take part in a driving tuition programme at the Nürburgring as well as receiving a one-year pass to the circuit.

Jack up the price even more on 10% of their production on already highly overpriced vehicle by just adding a wing, new wheels and some cfrp pieces... I mean is all that going to generate 2000+lbs of downforce at 180mph like some of the limited production supercars did?
At least Gallardo Superleggera and F430 Scuderia comes with substantial (220lbs) weight savings over their base models, as well as the mild power increase they receive like the LFA.

It is a heck of a car but it came down to late and too expensive. Having cars like the Viper ACR, Porsche GT3 RS, GT turbo, 911 Turbo GT II, 430 Scuderia,Z06, ZR1, Lambos, etc theyre is really no place for this car to shine. Even with its exotics materials and weight it is still within reach of a Z06 which got in the past 0-60mph in 3.4sec and also does 200 mph, you see what I mean?

Money matters to everyone even the filthy rich! Im not saying they can't afford it but there is cars half the price including almost every ferrari that could hang with this car in most every situation. And you would have a Ferrari...
On the paper the car is very similar to Gallardo LP560-4, although it is front engine like 599GTB. The interior is no more plush than a 599GTB or a Murcielago, it just looks more high tech because its a newer car. Soon it will be eclipsed by the entry level Ferrari and already has been by LP570-4 Superleggera.
It would be a hassle to own, they will only accept payment through leasing, and they will monitor you carefully to make sure the car is driven.
They want it to be like a coach car, but it does not look that promising in terms of that aspect.
It seems they wanted to build something like Aston Martin One-77 or Lamborghini Reventon, but with no base car to start with.
Only if it had gorgeous looks or a very daring design, but it looks more like a 7th gen Celica with some wild bodykit from Veilside.
