I found a couple with fairly low mileage and a decent price. With a turboback and chip (apr or giac), they're supposed to be around 275whp. And from what I read the engine is bulletproof. Anyone here familiar with them?

Uhm...I see a ton more guys driving TT's then "chicks". A chick mobile is a VW Bug. A lot of people say the Mini Cooper is a chick car to but I disagree.

To the OP I was actually looking at getting a TT as a DD.

My family had one for like 6 months (long story short, my sister is spoiled, and she wanted a 4 door 4-seater). I freaking loved that car. Quattro, well balanced. Handled great. Convertible. Luxurious. It was a nice all-around car. If you can find one for a good price. I'd go for it. Especially if it's not silver (that seems like pretty much the only color they made around here).

If you don't need AWD. I'd go for an S2000 or Z long long before the TT though.

 

LOL. You aint lying. I use to have an 04 Ralliart. Would love to get into an evo but its a little out of my price range.

As for the TT...its an 02 with 50k miles. Its the 222hp/207tq model.
